Overall I'm a little underwhelmed with this pressing, it's just really quiet. I can't recommend this album enough, this album has too many standout tracks to list, even the bonus tracks are fantastic. This album was really the beginning of the Kendrick Lamar phenomenon which has propelled him into one of Hip-Hop's modern greats. The lyrics and production of this album is so engrossing that you feel you're right there with Kendrick while he's telling his story. Good Kid m.A.A.d City is one of the greatest hip-hop albums within the last 10 years. When compared side to side the slightly yellowed cover looks bad. The artwork is also slightly different with the 180gram - it looks like it has a more balanced color pallet and the copy that is less weight has an overall yellow tint to the artwork.
53720470-A 131483E1/D is the runout number for the 180gram pressing. The odd thing was that each copy had the exact same 174gram LP2, it is like they cut corners by only changing the weight on LP1 but for some reason not messing with LP2. I weighed each copy and found they are different records entirely! One copy the LP1 weighed in close to 174gram, the other copy's LP1 weighed in at 140grams.
